Overview

Winota is an online casino with a cabaret and music-hall theme. Your account has a “Cabaret Star” character, you climb a 100-level “Cabaret World” map as you play, and you collect coins to spend in a shop. Behind the theme it’s a fairly standard casino lobby of slots and live tables, without a sportsbook.

The company behind it is easy to identify. Every page names Maltix Limited, a company registered in Malta (number C96904), and says it holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence, MGA/B2C/486/2018, valid until 12 December 2028. The footer links to the MGA’s own verification page and also carries the Soft2Bet logo.

For Indian players, the important points are in the terms and FAQ. India is not on the long list of restricted jurisdictions, which instead includes countries such as the UK, USA, France, Spain, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The FAQ lists six account currencies, and the Indian rupee is one of them. The terms then give rupee figures for withdrawal limits and the bonus maximum bet, so INR isn’t just a conversion option.

What’s missing is anything aimed specifically at India: no Hindi site, no UPI or Paytm on the pages we read, and a payment page that didn’t show any methods from our connection.

Welcome bonus breakdown

The welcome package is spread over your first three deposits. After each deposit you open “My Bonuses” in your profile and activate the bonus before placing any bets. If you bet first, you lose the right to that bonus.

Only the third step has a rupee figure on the welcome page. The first two steps, and the €20 minimum deposit, are given in euros and several other currencies but not INR, so your cashier will show the amount converted to rupees. The package itself has no free spins.

The 35x requirement applies to the deposit as well as the bonus, which makes it heavier than it looks. Deposit the equivalent of €100 for a €100 bonus and you need to bet €7,000 within 10 days. Because live games count only 10% and table games nothing, this bonus is no use if you mostly play Teen Patti, Andar Bahar or blackjack. Two other rules are worth knowing. If you ask for a withdrawal before claiming the bonus, or while it’s active, the bonus is cancelled. And you can’t claim a bonus while a withdrawal is pending.

Other welcome options

From our connection, the promotions page also showed two other welcome cards: “50% up to €1,000” and “100% up to €500 + 200 FS”. We couldn’t open the terms for these, and the promotions page says offers can change, so treat them as possible alternatives and check what your account is offered.

We score the bonus 5.5. The match percentages are fine, but 35x on deposit plus bonus in 10 days is demanding, and there are almost no rupee figures.

Games and providers

Winota’s provider list names 25 studios, with a combined count of about 7,300 games. The biggest are Spinomenal (675), Pragmatic Play (660), Playtech (645), Yggdrasil (540), Play’n GO (476), Games Global (439), Red Tiger (397), Hacksaw Gaming (373), Wazdan (338) and Novomatic (323). Evolution is listed with 134 games, and NetEnt, Nolimit City, Relax Gaming, ELK Studios, Quickspin, Betsoft, Amusnet and others are there too. Pragmatic Play Live and Big Time Gaming titles also appeared in search results.

We searched the lobby through a Japanese connection, as the site blocks some regions. Studios limit some games by country, so an Indian account may see a slightly different lobby.

Slots and live tables

Pragmatic Play’s big titles are all present: Sweet Bonanza in six versions, including Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Super Scatter, and Gates of Olympus in six, including Gates of Olympus 1000 and 2500. The live lobby adds Sweet Bonanza CandyLand and Gates of Olympus Roulette from Pragmatic Play Live. Big Time Gaming’s MONOPOLY slots and Red Tiger’s MONOPOLY titles are also there.

The live casino is split into Top, Gold Saloon, Roulette, Blackjack, Game Shows, Baccarat and Dice, and Poker. Playtech supplies a long list of baccarat tables. The casino side has Top, New, Popular, Slots, Table Games, Jackpots and a “Cabaret Night” collection, and most slots can be tried in demo mode.

We score games 7.5: a solid list of big studios with Evolution, Playtech and Pragmatic live tables, but no Aviator and a smaller lobby than many casinos we review.

Payments for Indian players

Rupee accounts are Winota’s main plus for India. Indian payment methods are its main gap.

The payments page, which normally lists methods by country, came back empty from our connection. The terms say the available methods are shown on the deposit and withdrawal pages after you log in, and the minimum deposit depends on the method you choose. So the cashier for an Indian account may show more than the public pages. We couldn’t check that without registering.

How to deposit from India

1. Register with your username, password, name and email, then confirm your email.
2. Choose INR as your account currency if you’re offered a choice. The terms say an account currency may be assigned based on your location.
3. Click “Deposit” at the top of the page or open “My Wallet” and the “Deposit” tab.
4. Pick a method. Use an account in your own name: the terms let Winota confiscate winnings from third-party deposits. Skip Skrill and Neteller if you want the welcome bonus.
5. Enter the amount and pay. The FAQ says deposits normally appear instantly.
6. If you want the welcome bonus, activate it in “My Bonuses” before you place a bet.

How to withdraw

1. Make sure you’ve bet your deposit at least once. The terms require this, and the FAQ says Winota can charge up to 10% (minimum $0.50) on a withdrawal of a deposit that hasn’t been wagered.
2. Finish or cancel any active bonus. Withdrawing during wagering cancels the bonus and its winnings.
3. Go to “My Wallet”, then “Withdrawals”, choose a method and enter the amount. Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with.
4. Send your documents if asked. The terms list photo ID, a utility bill as proof of address, and possibly bank statements or payslips as proof of funds. You have 30 days to provide them.
5. Wait for processing: up to three business days under the terms.

The rupee limits are low compared with most casinos we review. At the starting VIP level, a big win of ₹2,00,000 would take five days to pay out at ₹40,000 a day.

Payments score 4.5. INR accounts and published rupee limits help, but there’s no Indian method on any public page, and the daily cap is tight.

Mobile experience

Winota doesn’t have an app download page that we could find. The site runs in your phone’s browser, and the menu, lobby, promotions and cashier all work the same way as on desktop. The game data marks titles as HTML5, which means they run on mobile without extra software.

Tips for Indian players on mobile

• Bookmark winota.com and log in only from that address.
• Live Teen Patti, Andar Bahar and game shows need a steady connection. Use Wi-Fi or a strong 4G or 5G signal.
• Keep photos of your ID and a recent utility bill on your phone, ready for verification.
• Set a reality check in the Responsible Gaming section, as it’s easy to lose track of time on a phone.

We score mobile 6.5: the browser site works, but there’s no app, and an Indian connection may see a different layout from the one we tested.

Customer support

The contact page and footer say support is available 24/7. You can reach it by live chat or by email at [email protected]. The contact page also mentions a phone line, but no number is shown. VIP players at the two top levels get a personal account manager. We didn’t open a chat ourselves.

Languages

The site is available in English, Polish, Finnish, Hungarian and Russian, plus a New Zealand English version. There’s no Hindi, and support languages aren’t published, so expect to use English. Responsible gambling tools

Winota’s terms describe a good set of self-service tools in the Responsible Gaming section of your account:

• Deposit limit: daily, weekly or monthly. Lowering it is immediate; raising it takes 24 hours.
• Reality check: a pop-up showing your session length, wins and losses at the interval you choose.
• Time out: logs you out for 24 hours.
• Self-exclusion: for a set period or indefinitely. Reversing an indefinite exclusion takes seven days.

Support scores 6.5: 24/7 chat and email and good self-service tools, but English only, and many promotions have to be claimed through an agent.

Our verdict

Winota is a properly licensed casino that lets you play in rupees. The Malta licence, the clearly named operator and the rupee withdrawal limits make it more transparent than many sites aimed at India. The lobby has the essentials for Indian players, with live Teen Patti, three versions of Andar Bahar, Dragon Tiger, Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette.

It has clear weaknesses. There’s no UPI, Paytm or Hindi, Aviator isn’t in the lobby we searched, and the daily withdrawal cap starts at ₹40,000. The welcome package looks generous at up to €1,000, but 35x on deposit plus bonus within 10 days, with live games counting only 10%, makes it mainly a slots offer.

Winota suits players who already use cards or e-wallets, want a Malta-licensed site and mainly play slots and live tables without a bonus.
