BitStarz has been around since 2014, which makes it one of the longest-running crypto casinos in our guide. It is owned by Gareton B.V.

The appeal is scale. BitStarz advertises more than 9,000 games and a cashier built around cryptocurrency, with most crypto cashouts approved within minutes. For Indian players, though, the picture is narrower than the headline figures suggest: INR is not among the supported currencies, UPI and Paytm are not listed, and two Indian favourites, Aviator and Andar Bahar, did not turn up in its public game catalogue.

So who is BitStarz for? Mainly Indian players who already hold crypto, or who are comfortable buying it, and who want a very large slot and live library with quick payouts. If you rely on UPI and rupee balances, start with our list of the best UPI casinos in India instead.

Welcome bonus breakdown

BitStarz’s official site and bonus terms describe a four-deposit welcome package worth up to €500 or 5 BTC plus 180 free spins. All the spins are attached to the first deposit, and the bonus money is spread across all four.

The bonuses page sums this up as a 100% bonus plus 180 free spins on the first deposit, then up to €400 or 4 BTC on the next three deposits. Different parts of the package can be claimed in different currencies, so you could take the first in euros and the second in Bitcoin.

Key terms from the official bonus terms

• Wagering: 40x on bonuses unless stated otherwise; free-spin winnings also carry 40x.
• Validity: all bonuses in the welcome package are valid for 7 days.
• Maximum bet: €5 (or 0.00006 BTC) per bet until wagering is complete, including double-up gambles after a round.
• Game weighting: table games, live games, instant-win games, lotteries and bingo typically count 5% towards wagering; jackpot games are excluded.
• No bonus code: you do not need a code to qualify for the free spins.
• Excluded countries: players from a short list of European countries are not eligible for the package. India is not on that list, although India is listed among countries excluded from the separate no-deposit free spins.

How the 180 free spins work

The spins are not credited in one go. The first 20 arrive right after your first deposit, then 20 more every 24 hours until all 180 are paid out. To qualify, the deposit itself must be wagered at least once within 24 hours of depositing. Each batch has to be opened within one day of being credited and played within one day of activation, and cancelling any batch forfeits the remaining ones. The slot used depends on your country, so check the bonus section once logged in.

Is 40x reasonable?

Forty times is towards the higher end of common wagering requirements, but here it applies to the bonus rather than deposit plus bonus. A worked example on the first deposit: deposit €100, receive a €100 bonus, and 40x means €4,000 of bets before the bonus can be withdrawn, inside 7 days and at no more than €5 per spin. The total package is modest next to some rivals: €500 across four deposits is less than several casinos offer on the first deposit alone. Its strength is the 180 spins, not the cash.

Games and providers

This is BitStarz’s strongest area. The official site advertises 9,000+ games, and the game providers page we loaded listed around 80 studios, including Play’n GO, Nolimit City, Hacksaw, Playtech, Quickspin, Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil, Thunderkick, BGaming and Lucky Streak. That page changes with your location, so the line-up in India may differ. Evolution and Pragmatic Play titles appear in the site’s public game catalogue even though they were not on the providers page we saw.

It covers thousands of games but may not include every title in the logged-in lobby, so treat a “not found” as “check the lobby search” rather than a firm no.

The gaps matter. Aviator is the crash game most Indian players know, and Andar Bahar is a staple of Indian live lobbies, yet neither showed up. Payments for Indian players

BitStarz is a crypto casino first, and that shapes everything about how it works for Indian players.

Currencies

The official payments page lists Euro, US Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Australian Dollar, New Zealand Dollar, Japanese Yen and Norwegian Krone, plus Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple, Dogecoin, Cardano, Binance Coin, Tron, Tether, Solana and USD Coin. INR is not listed. In practice Indian players would hold a balance in USD or crypto, which means a conversion step on the way in and out.

Methods

The payments page shows the methods available in the visitor’s region, so what an Indian account sees may differ. The version we loaded showed:

The site also offers a Buy Crypto service and an exchange for many more coins. Two rules from the FAQ are worth knowing: you must withdraw by the same method you deposited with, and each deposit must be wagered once before you can withdraw it.

How to deposit

For an Indian player the practical route is crypto:

1. Buy a coin on an exchange you already trust. A stablecoin such as USDT or USDC avoids most price swings.
2. Sign up at BitStarz, open the cashier and choose Deposit.
3. Pick the coin, then copy the deposit address or scan the QR code. Check that the network in your wallet matches the one shown.
4. Send at least the minimum (for example 10 USDT or 0.0001 BTC). The FAQ warns that deposits below the minimum or sent to the wrong address are lost.
5. Crypto deposits usually arrive within a few minutes, depending on network traffic and the fee you paid.

How to withdraw

1. Make sure your deposit has been wagered at least once and any active bonus is finished.
2. Open Withdraw, choose the same coin or e-wallet you deposited with and enter an amount of at least $50.
3. Paste a wallet address you control, check the network and confirm.
4. If BitStarz needs documents, the FAQ says it emails you within an hour of your request. Crypto players are not asked for documents as standard, but checks can be requested; uploaded documents are verified within 12 hours, usually within one.
5. Once the coins arrive, sell them for rupees on your exchange and move the money to your bank.

Each step can carry a network or exchange fee, so very small withdrawals lose a larger share to costs.

The $50 minimum withdrawal is high for casual players. The dormant account fee is easy to forget too: if you stop playing, withdraw your balance rather than leaving it to drain.

Mobile experience

BitStarz now has an official Android app. It is distributed as an APK from the app page on the BitStarz site rather than through Google Play, and it needs Android 12 or newer. You download the file, allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser, then open the APK and install it. You can sign up inside the app, and it supports crypto plus the fiat methods available to you. Download only from the official page, and switch the unknown-apps setting off again afterwards.

We found no iOS app, so iPhone users play in the mobile browser. The mobile site keeps the same menus and cashier as desktop. For crypto users the browser is convenient enough, since you can copy a wallet address from your exchange app and paste it straight into the cashier.

Large game libraries can be slow to browse on a small screen, so the search bar will do more work than scrolling. Live dealer streams use far more data than slots or crash games, so use Wi-Fi for long live sessions. We have not tested the app ourselves, so this score reflects what the site offers.

BitStarz’s terms and site describe support as available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through:

Support languages are not published. The site is available in English, Japanese, Russian and Chinese, so there is no Hindi. Hindi speakers can see our list of Hindi casino sites. Our verdict

BitStarz is an established, very large crypto casino with fast crypto payouts, no periodic withdrawal caps, an Android app and strong player-protection tools. On slots and live game shows it is among the best in our guide.

For Indian players, the fit is narrower. INR, UPI and Paytm are not listed, Aviator and Andar Bahar did not appear in its catalogue, the welcome package is modest at up to €500 over four deposits with 40x wagering, and the $50 minimum withdrawal and dormant fee are costs to keep in mind.
