Overview

Betsomnia is an online casino with a dark, night-time theme (the logo is an owl) and a games lobby built mainly around slots and live dealer tables. There’s no sportsbook. The site loads in English and quotes every figure in euros or US dollars; there’s no India page and no Hindi version of the site.

The terms list a set of Excluded Jurisdictions whose residents can’t open an account: Afghanistan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Côte d’Ivoire, Curaçao, Cyprus, Estonia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, North Korea, Russia, Spain, Romania, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and the USA. India is not on that list. A separate bonus clause bars players from Argentina, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bonaire, Croatia, Curaçao, Finland, Georgia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, Sint Maarten, South Sudan, Sweden, Tunisia and the UAE from promotions, and again India is not named.

The site isn’t clear about who runs it. The footer says Betsomnia is owned and operated by Software Solutions S.R.L., a company registered in Costa Rica with registration number 4-144-892943. The FAQ answer to “Do you have a license?” names a different set of companies: ARDENS S.Z. LTD (Cyprus, HE 460743), described as an agent of FairGame G.P. N.V. (Curaçao, registration 141938), which it says holds licence OLG/2024/1673/0915. The About Us page also refers to Fair Game G.P. N.V. in its anti-money-laundering section. We’ve reported both versions rather than guess which is current.

Welcome bonus breakdown

The homepage banner advertises “225% bonus + 150 FS”, which is the three deposit bonuses added together. In practice they work quite differently from each other.

You accept each bonus in your profile after the deposit. The first 50 free spins of the first-deposit offer arrive straight after the deposit and the next 50 a day later. The bonus data gives the free-spin value as €0.20 a spin.

The catch: the €500 cap

The €25,000 maximum looks enormous, but the general terms limit what you can take out of it. Winnings paid on the first deposit under the First Deposit Bonus are capped at 10 times the deposit and never more than €500 (or $500). Anything above that is removed before a withdrawal. In other words, the bonus size only matters if you’re prepared to lose it; the most you can cash out from the welcome offer is €500.

Three days is a very short window for 40x. On a €100 first deposit with a €100 bonus, you’d need €4,000 of eligible bets inside 72 hours. Live tables don’t count, so the offer is no use if you mainly play Teen Patti, Andar Bahar or Lightning Roulette. The terms also describe several small games in the account menu: a free Wheel of Fortune and a deposit-only Golden Wheel, a Daily Bonus that grows if you log in every day, Lucky Pigeon, Lucky Card and Pick’n Win. Cashback conversions are capped at €3,000, depending on your loyalty level.

We score the bonus 4.5. There are plenty of offers, but 40x in three days, no live-game contribution and a €500 cap on the headline bonus make them hard to turn into cash. Our welcome bonus guide explains when it’s better to play without one.

Games and providers

Betsomnia’s lobby is large. The provider list the site uses showed 108 studios with 15,016 games between them when we checked, and the “all games” feed returned the same total. The About Us page says “over 20,000” games, so the two figures don’t match; we’ve gone with the live count.

The biggest studios by number of games were KA Gaming (1,041), Spinomenal (733), Playtech (711), Evolution (703), Amusnet Interactive (403), Red Tiger (349), BGaming (290), Nolimit City (282), Hacksaw (272), Evoplay (262), Betsoft (242), Endorphina (239), EGT Digital (238), Amatic, NetEnt, Booming Games, Kalamba, Habanero, Ruby Play, Yggdrasil, PG Soft, ELK and Novomatic. Play’n GO, Relax Gaming, SmartSoft and Spribe are also on the list. We didn’t see Pragmatic Play.

The live section held 1,251 tables from ten studios: Evolution (679), Playtech (161), Winfinity (100), Ezugi (98), Sexy Gaming (74), ICONIC21 (62), Amusnet Live (30), Absolutely Live Gaming (20), Skywind (14) and Pateplay (13). An “instant games” category held 138 crash and arcade-style games.

We fetched the lobby through a Japanese connection. Studios restrict games by country, so an account opened from India could see a slightly different list.

Because Pragmatic Play wasn’t on the list, you won’t find Sweet Bonanza or Gates of Olympus here. Play’n GO’s Book of Dead and Legacy of Dead were on the homepage. The lobby tabs include Slots, Live, Top, New, Dice, Bonus Games, Table Games, Instant and Megaways.

Games scores 8.0. For live play this is one of the stronger lobbies we’ve seen, with real depth in Indian card games and Hindi tables. Missing Pragmatic Play and the absence of a confirmed Aviator stop it scoring higher.

This is where Betsomnia is weakest for India.

What the site says

• Methods shown publicly: the footer shows icons for a bank, Ethereum, Tether and Bitcoin
• UPI, Paytm, PhonePe, IMPS: not mentioned anywhere we read
• Cashier: the list of deposit and withdrawal methods only loads after login

The About Us page says e-wallet deposits and payouts are fast and that card payments can take longer because a bank processes them, but it doesn’t name the e-wallets. With no rupee account, you should expect a conversion fee from your bank or wallet on every deposit and every withdrawal. How to deposit from India

1. Register with a username, password and email address, and fill in your contact details.
2. Choose EUR or USD. There’s no rupee option.
3. Open the deposit page (the “Deposit” button or My Wallet → Deposit) and see which methods your account is offered.
4. If you want a bonus, enter the promo code before you pay where the offer has one. The first-deposit bonus needs €20 or more.
5. Pay only from a method in your own name. The terms say the company may ask for proof of ownership of every payment method you use.
6. The FAQ says deposits should appear on your balance straight away; contact support if they don’t.

How to withdraw

1. Complete verification. The terms say the KYC process lasts no longer than a day, but they can ask for certified ID, proof of address and up to 12 months of statements for your payment methods, which you must provide within 30 days.
2. Make sure you’ve deposited at least €20 (a condition for any withdrawal) and wagered your last deposit at least once.
3. Go to Account → Wallet → Funds Withdrawal, choose a method, enter the amount and confirm.
4. For bank transfers, add your bank details only after the request is approved, through Transaction History.
5. Keep an eye on the limits. You can have no more than three pending withdrawals at a time.

Payments score 3.5. With no rupee account, no Indian methods on show and withdrawals capped at €500 a day, Betsomnia is hard to recommend if you care about getting money in and out easily.

Mobile experience

Betsomnia doesn’t link to an app in the App Store or on Google Play. The site is a modern single-page web app with a web manifest, so on most phones you can add it to your home screen from the browser menu. The full lobby, promotions and account area work in the mobile browser; we loaded the site through a desktop browser and didn’t test it on a phone.

Tips for Indian players on mobile

• Live Teen Patti, Andar Bahar and game shows need a steady connection, so use Wi-Fi or a strong 4G/5G signal.
• The FAQ suggests disabling VPNs and ad blockers if games won’t load.
• Take photos of your ID, a recent bank statement or utility bill and your payment method before your first withdrawal, so verification doesn’t hold you up.
• With only three days to wager a bonus, think twice before activating one on a phone you’ll only use occasionally.

Mobile scores 6.0: the browser site is fine, but there’s no app and no mobile-only extras.

Customer support

Support is by live chat on the site and by email at [email protected]. The site doesn’t publish support hours or languages, and we didn’t open a chat ourselves. The FAQ is short (11 questions), and some of its answers don’t match the terms, notably on who runs the site. The terms are long and detailed, though, and most rules are spelled out clearly.

Responsible gambling tools

The responsible gaming page lets you ask support to set limits on time spent on the site (per day, week or month), on deposits and on spending. Decreases take effect at once; increases only after a seven-day cooling-off period. Self-exclusion is offered for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or a year, or permanently. A permanent exclusion can only be reversed by written request, and even then the account reopens no sooner than seven days later. You can’t withdraw your balance during a temporary self-exclusion, so take your money out first. Support scores 6.0: chat and email are there, the limit tools are reasonable, but there’s no published schedule or language list, and the conflicting operator details are a mark against transparency.

Our verdict

Betsomnia has a lobby that will suit Indian live-casino fans: over 1,200 live tables, Hindi Lightning Roulette and Hindi Speed Baccarat, live Teen Patti and Andar Bahar from Ezugi and Evolution, Crazy Time, Funky Time and the MONOPOLY shows. India isn’t on its excluded list, and the weekly promotions are plentiful.

The problems are money and transparency. Accounts are in euros or dollars only, there’s no UPI or Paytm on any public page, withdrawals are capped at €500 a day and only processed on weekdays, and the site names two different companies as its operator. The bonuses look generous but carry 40x wagering with three days to finish it, and the first-deposit bonus can’t pay out more than €500.
