Play'n GO's New GO Guaranteed Mechanic: Infernal Trinity and Ghost Booster

Play'n GO debuted GO Guaranteed in Infernal Trinity (3 Sept) and Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed (1 Oct 2026). How the guaranteed bonus minimum works.

News, published

Play’n GO has introduced a new feature brand this autumn: GO Guaranteed. It debuted in Infernal Trinity GO Guaranteed on 3 September 2026 and returned in Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed, released on 1 October 2026. Both games are Hold and Spin slots, and in both the new mechanic does the same basic job: it builds up a guaranteed minimum value during base play so the bonus round “has something behind it before it even starts”, as Play’n GO’s Magnus Wallentin puts it.

Here is how it works in each game, based on Play’n GO’s own announcements.

Infernal Trinity GO Guaranteed (3 September 2026)

Infernal Trinity is set in a ruined, once-golden kingdom with three phoenixes: Blue, Red and Purple. You collect Phoenix Tear Scatter symbols, and each colour goes to its matching phoenix. Collect enough of one colour and that phoenix wakes, triggering Hold and Spin with its own modifier:

PhoenixHold and Spin power
BlueExpands the reels
RedIncreases the cash values on the coins
PurpleGuarantees at least one instant jackpot coin

More than one phoenix can wake at once, so the powers can stack.

How GO Guaranteed works here: landing all three Tear Scatter colours in a single spin moves you up the GO Guaranteed ladder, through fixed guaranteed-win stages from 10x to 100x bet. A GO Ultra mode extends the ladder to 120x. The ladder resets when all three phoenix features trigger together in Hold and Spin.

Play’n GO calls it “the first Play’n GO title to feature our new GO Guaranteed mechanic”.

Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed (1 October 2026)

Ghost Booster is a lighter, cartoon-haunted slot set around a ghostly mansion, with a coin-hungry spirit called Wispy. The basics:

Layout5 reels, 4 rows
Paylines20 fixed
Key symbolsCoin and Collector
Bonus trigger6+ Coin symbols start Hold & Spin

The features:

  • Wheel of Spooks Jackpot Feature. Triggered by Wispy’s coin collection in the base game, it pays a single instant prize from a jackpot wheel.
  • GO Guaranteed Meter. It stays active through base play and climbs on Collector-only outcomes. If the Hold & Spin bonus ends below the meter’s built-up value, the meter lifts the reward to a guaranteed minimum.
  • Ghost progression. A separate progression tied to the ghost characters adds more jackpot wheel interactions as you reach coin-collection milestones.

Play’n GO says the game’s series positioning is “still to be confirmed”.

The two announcements do not give RTP, volatility or a maximum win for either game. Check the info screen inside the game at your casino for the RTP before you play.

What “guaranteed” really means

A guaranteed minimum sounds generous, and it does make bonus rounds less likely to end with a disappointing result. But it is worth being clear about what it does not do:

  • It is part of the maths, not a gift. The guaranteed value is already included in the game’s RTP. A feature that pays more in the bonus usually means less elsewhere.
  • It only applies once the bonus triggers. Base-game spins can still lose, and you may play many spins before the bonus arrives.
  • Meters and ladders encourage longer sessions. Watching a value build up can make it tempting to keep spinning “until it pays”. Decide your budget before you start, not when the meter looks full.

Our RTP and volatility guide explains how these numbers fit together.

Where to play Play’n GO slots

Play’n GO appears in the provider lists of many casinos we review, including Stake, BC.Game, BitStarz, Lucky Days, Patang, Ivibet, Oshi and Immerion. New releases reach operators at different times, so search the lobby by name. For other recent releases, see our new slots for October 2026 round-up.

What it means for players

GO Guaranteed is designed to address a familiar frustration with Hold and Spin games: a bonus that triggers and then pays very little. Two games in two months suggests it will become a regular feature. It is a useful design, but it does not change the basic deal of any slot. Results are random, the house keeps an edge over time, and the guarantee is a floor for one feature, not for your session.

Frequently asked questions

What is GO Guaranteed?

It is a new Play'n GO mechanic that builds a guaranteed minimum value for a bonus during base play. In Infernal Trinity it is a ladder of fixed guaranteed-win stages from 10x to 100x bet; in Ghost Booster it is a meter that lifts a Hold & Spin result to a guaranteed minimum.

Which was the first GO Guaranteed slot?

Infernal Trinity GO Guaranteed, released on 3 September 2026. Play'n GO calls it the first of its titles to feature the mechanic.

When did Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed come out?

Play'n GO announced its release on 1 October 2026. It is a 5-reel, 4-row slot with 20 fixed paylines, a Wheel of Spooks jackpot feature and a Hold & Spin bonus triggered by six or more Coin symbols.

Does a guaranteed minimum mean I can't lose?

No. The guarantee only sets a floor for the bonus round once it triggers. You can still lose on base-game spins, and the slot's overall return over time is set by its RTP.
