Noche de Almas is a new slot from BGaming, released on 20 October 2026. It takes the Día de los Muertos festival and gives it a darker, high-contrast look, with a story about two souls trying to reunite in the afterlife. It also introduces Reel Deal, a buy feature BGaming says is the first of its kind in its own portfolio. All figures below come from BGaming’s game page and release announcement.
What the game is
Instead of the bright colours often linked with the festival, BGaming goes for a haunted mood: marigold flowers, ghostly butterflies, ornate sugar skulls and dogs that cross between the living and the dead. Your goal, in the game’s story, is to reach the maximum win and let the two lovers rest side by side.
How it plays
Noche de Almas uses cluster pays. Five or more matching symbols touching vertically or horizontally form a win. Winning symbols, and all matching symbols, disappear and new ones drop in.
- Highlighted cells. Cells in a winning cluster light up. If a Candle lands, or is already on the reels, those cells play a Coin Respin.
- Coin Respin. Bronze, Silver and Gold Coins land in the highlighted cells with values from 0.2x to 500x. Their values are added up and paid against the bet.
- Heart symbols multiply adjacent Coins by x2 to x10, and Top Hat symbols collect Coins to clear space for more.
Three or more Scatters trigger one of three Free Spins modes, depending on how many land: Soul Awakening, Soul Fiesta or Soul Frenzy. Two Scatters during free spins add 2 spins and three add 4. Soul Frenzy can only be triggered in normal play.
The buy options are Booster (keeps a Candle in play every spin), Chance x5 (more chance of free spins), Soul Awakening (8 spins), Soul Fiesta (12 spins with cells that stay highlighted) and Reel Deal, which condenses 500 spins into a reveal of the three best results.
The numbers
| Detail | Figure |
|---|---|
| Release date | 20 October 2026 |
| RTP | 97.00% |
| Volatility | Very high |
| Max win | 10,000x |
| Layout | Cluster pays (grid size not stated) |
| Hit rate (BGaming figure) | 2.99 |
A 97.00% RTP is high for a new release. BGaming rates the volatility as very high, so expect long gaps between bigger wins. The game has no jackpots, and BGaming does not state the grid size.
Who it suits
Noche de Almas suits patient players who like cluster games with a second layer of coin collecting. The high RTP is a plus, but very high volatility means a small balance can run out before the features land. Reel Deal is a novel way to see the best of 500 spins quickly, but it is still a bought feature, so check its price in the game first.
Where to play
BGaming is in the provider lists of many casinos we have reviewed, including Casoo, Cashy, Wazbee, iWild, Tsars and Playfina. Search the lobby for the game before you deposit, and note that some casinos turn off buy features.
Check the RTP before you play
The 97.00% figure is the one BGaming publishes. Casinos can run other settings, so open the game’s info screen and read the RTP there. Our RTP and volatility guide explains what these numbers mean over a session.
