Gift Rush Merge Up is a new BGaming slot, listed on BGaming’s game page with a release date of 19 November 2026. It is a Christmas edition of BGaming’s Merge Up series, with cluster pays and growing cell multipliers. All figures below come from BGaming’s official game page and game rules.
What the game is
An elf has hidden a present for players while Santa isn’t looking. The reels are filled with bright Christmas ornaments that merge into more valuable ones and, at the top level, pack into Gift Boxes. BGaming files it under its #Entertainment line. The game page does not give the grid size.
How it plays
- Merge Up clusters. 4 or more matching symbols touching vertically or horizontally form a winning cluster. After it pays, some of its symbols disappear and the rest move up a level. There are 9 symbol levels.
- Cell multipliers. Cells in a winning cluster are highlighted. A new win on a highlighted cell gives it a x2 multiplier, and each further win there doubles it, up to x128. Several multipliers in one cluster are added together.
- Gift symbol. A winning cluster of level-8 symbols creates a Gift. It pops, clears the 8 symbols around it, and then turns into a Scatter.
Free Spins
3 or more Scatters start Free Spins:
| Scatters | Free Spins |
|---|---|
| 3 | 12 |
| 4 | 15 |
| 5 | 20 |
| 6+ | 30 |
During Free Spins, highlighted cells and their multipliers stay until the round ends, and 3 or more Scatters in one spin add 5 more spins.
BGaming lists three bonus buys: Gift Joy (Free Spins), Gift Euphoria (Free Spins with x2 in every cell from the start) and Gift Boom (3 to 9 Gifts pop first and their multipliers carry into Free Spins). There are also three boosters: Chance x2, Random Booster (random multipliers up to x128 in some cells) and Booster x16 (x16 in all cells). A Rebuy Bonus button repeats your last purchase. Prices depend on the bet, and only one option can be active at a time. Some casinos switch buy features off.

Who it suits
This is a very high volatility cluster game: the big results come when sticky multipliers build up on the same cells during Free Spins, and many sessions will not get there. The Rebuy button makes repeat purchases very quick, which is exactly when spending can run ahead of plan. Set a budget before you start and stick to it.
Where to play
BGaming is in the provider lists of most casinos we have reviewed, including BitStarz, Jackpotter, Wazbee, Bets.io and V.Vegas. Search the lobby for the game after 19 November, since new titles do not reach every casino on day one.
Check the RTP before you play
The 97.00% figure is the one BGaming publishes. Casinos can run other settings, so open the game’s info screen and read the RTP there. Our RTP and volatility guide explains what these numbers mean over a session.
