News, published

Monopoly Money is a new Big Time Gaming slot built on the Hasbro board game. It launched first as an exclusive with Gamesys in the UK and Spain, and BTG’s homepage gives 28 October 2026 as the date of its global release. It uses BTG’s own Megaways engine, and every figure below comes from Big Time Gaming’s game page and homepage.

What the game is

Mr. Monopoly, the man in the top hat, runs the show. The symbols are the familiar board pieces: Title Deeds in their property colours, Chance cards and Community Chest cards. BTG calls the game a 6-reel Megaways slot with up to 117,649 ways to win.

How it plays

The main feature is Hold and Spin. Six or more Cards (Title Deeds, Community Chest or Chance) anywhere on screen trigger it. Every symbol position then becomes its own reel:

  • Mr. Monopoly collects any Title Deed worth the same as him or less, and adds its value to his own.
  • He starts with 3 Money Bags. A spin with no new Card costs one bag, and a collected Card restores one, up to three.
  • Community Chest cards award a Bonus Prize of up to 2,500x the stake when the round ends.
  • Chance cards are held until the end, then give a Credit Prize (added to Mr. Monopoly’s value, which may restart collecting) or a full Restart that keeps his value.
  • Collecting Title Deeds of every colour awards the Monopoly Bonus, worth up to 2,500x the stake.

Free Spins start with three or more Scatters: 12 spins, plus 2 for each extra Scatter, with retriggers of 4 or more. Mr. Monopoly stays on the board with a starting value of up to 15x the stake. Each Title Deed he collects adds +1 to a Megaways Win Multiplier for regular wins, and five or more Cards at once trigger Hold and Spin inside the free spins.

There are two paid options. Power Play costs 8x the stake and guarantees at least 10,000 Megaways per spin, with features landing more often. Bonus Buy offers Hold and Spin for 60x or Free Spins for 90x the stake.

The RTP is a range, so the version you play depends on the casino. BTG gives no volatility label and no overall max win on the page, so we have left both blank rather than guess. The 2,500x figures apply only to the two named bonus prizes.

Who it suits

Monopoly Money suits players who like collection features, where one character grows in value as the round goes on. The Megaways reels keep the base game busy, and the Hold and Spin has a clear structure you can follow. Players who want a quiet, low-cost session should note that Power Play multiplies the cost of every spin by eight, and the 90x Free Spins buy is a big outlay with no published max win.

Where to play

Big Time Gaming is in the provider lists of several casinos we have reviewed, including Casoo, Cashy, Wazbee, iWild and BetsAmigo. New games are not always added on day one, so search the lobby for Monopoly Money before you deposit. Some casinos also turn off bonus buys and Power Play-style options.

Check the RTP before you play

Because BTG publishes a range, the info or help screen inside the game is the only place to see which RTP your casino runs. Our RTP and volatility guide explains what those percentages mean over a real session.
